The 
campaign was a resounding success, which took democracy to a new global level. Give your vote to define the New Seven Wonders of Nature from which the Philippines was included in this campaign. The Island Philippines has composed of 7101 island to show its beauty to the world and luckly four (4) of them was included in this wonders.





The Four (4) wonders from the Philippines: 

Chocolate Hills
The Chocolate Hills is an unusual geological formation in Bohol, Philippines. It is composed of around 1,268 perfectly cone-shaped hills, all about the same size, spread over an area of more than 50 sq km The hills are covered in green grass that turns brown during the dry season, giving them the name ''Chocolate Hills.''

Tubbataha Reef
Tubbataha Reef is an atoll coral reef in the Sulu Sea that belongs to the Philippines. It is a marine sanctuary protected as Tubbataha Reef National Marine Park. The reef is composed of two atolls, North and South Reefs. Each reef has a single small islet that protrudes from the water. The atolls are separated by a deep channel 8 kilometers wide. Over one thousand species, including many that are endangered, can be found at on the reef. These include manta rays, lionfish, tortoises, clownfish and sharks.
Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park 
The Puerto Princesa Subterranean River National Park is located about 50 km north of the city of Puerto Princesa, Palawan, Philippines. It features a limestone karst mountain landscape with an 8.2 km. navigable underground river. A distinguishing feature of the river is that it winds through a cave before flowing directly into the South China Sea. It includes major formations of stalactites and stalagmites, and several large chambers. The lower portion of the river is subject to tidal influences. The underground river is reputed to be the world's longest. At the mouth of the cave, a clear lagoon is framed by ancient trees growing right to the water's edge. Monkeys, large monitor lizards, and squirrels find their niche on the beach near the cave.

Mayon Volcano
Mayon Volcano is an active volcano on the Filipino island of Luzon, 15 km northwest of Legazpi City.It is classified by volcanologists as a stratovolcano (composite volcano). Its symmetric cone was formed through alternate pyroclastic and lava flows. Mayon is the most active volcano in the country, having erupted over 47 times in the past 400 years, and is a part of what is called the Pacific Ring of Fire.

The 8 Natural Wonders of the World



1. Socotra Archipelago found in Yemen – The Galapagos of the Indian Ocean, its about 700 flora and fauna species. These species are only found in Yemen. Its like a mushroom.
2. New Caledonia found in Australia – These are the tropical lagoons and coral reefs. It’s called extensive reef system of the world.
3. Surtsey Island found in Iceland. Formed like a Volcanic Island. It’s Natural Reserved.
4. Joggins Fossil Cliffs found in Canada. These is 300 million years old Fossil Record of Terrestial Life.
5. Sardona Tectonic Arena found in Switzerland. These old rocks sits above the younger rock formations. These is over 200 years old.
6. Saryaka found in Kazakhstan. The Central Asian lakes and Steppe in Naurzum and Korgalzhyn. Undisturbed area.
7. Mount Sangingshan Natural Park found in China. The array of granite pillars and forest.
8. Monarch Butterfly Biosphere found in Mexico. Millions of monarch butterflies in cluster pack found only in Oyamel Fir Forest.

SEVEN WONDERS OF THE ANCIENT WORLD





The Lighthouse at Alexandria was built in 279 B.C. on the small island of Pharos by Sostratus of Cnidus for Ptolemy II. The lighthouse was over 400 feet high. The remains of this imposing structure could still be seen in 1480, when the Mamluk ruler Qa'it Bay constructed a fort on the exact site of the lighthouse.
The Colossus of Rhodes stands over 100 feet tall, this statue of the Greek sun god was completed by the sculptor Chares in 280 B.C. The Colossus stood with one hand shielding its eyes looking over the harbor of the Greek island.
The Mausoleum of Halikarnassos was built by the wife of the Carian ruler Mausolus in 353 B. C. This tomb was of such great size and, with its sculptured friezes, so beautiful, that fragments of it are preserved in Turkey and at the British Museum.
The Statue of Zeus, though small in relation to some of the other wonders of the ancient world, this statue of Zeus, sculpted by the Greek Phidias about 430 B.C., won fame because of its beauty.
Temple of Diana at Ephesus measured 300 by 150 feet, with columns 60 feet high. This great temple dedicated to the goddess Diana was begun about 555 B.C. by Croesus, king of Lydia. Avandal burned down the original temple in 356 B . C., but it was rebuilt by Alexander the Great.
The Hanging Gardens of Babylon rises on terraces some 400 feet above the level of the plain. This hanging gardens were built by Nebuchadnezzar about 600 B.C. to console his queen, who missed the mountains, trees and flowers of her native Media.
The great Pyramids at Giza, which date from the Old Kingdom (2700-2300 B. C. ), are the oldest and most famous of the Seven Wonders of the World.
